6 Feet under - or TOSS THE COFFIN
Instructions:
On the way to the cemetery, Alex, the hearse driver, has to step up the speed to make it to the burial on time.
Help Alex deliver the coffin to the cemetery for the burial.
Drive the car as fast as you can by tapping the Right Arrow Key
and when you reach the wall hit the Space Bar to hurl the coffin
out of the wind screen and make it land as far away as you can.
The red area on the road alerts you that the wall is close!
Try to stop as close to the wall as you can to make the coffin reach the maximum distance.
At the landing point the coffin will be buried.

May 7, 2005 - Ballard Skate Bowl Wake and Goodbye Party!

Well, we made it on the TV again!

Rick and I showed up at the Ballard Skate Bowl at the pre-arranged time, and John was a bit late (he said they were having too much fun over at the Sunset Tavern!).We chatted for a bit, and then he sprung the surprise. KING 5 NEWS was going to do a Live segment featuring the "funeral and wake". He was totally psyched! They wanted to have the "procession" in the background as the segment went on the air!!!

We ended up changing plans from driving from the Park, a few blocks away, to hiding in the alley behind the Tavern, until just before 10 pm.

What a crowd of interesting people gathered! All ages, and all types. Loud music, lots of interest, and lots of fun crowd watching. Including the reactions of people to RICK wearing his official "L.A. Coroner" gear, and me in TopHat and Duster! (Whoa!)

About 10 til 10, one of the Bands piled into the back of Rose, and we loaded the "coffin" (a 2x4 ft box containing the last pieces of the old skate ramp) into the back of Morticia, and off we went around the block, lights flashing, music blaring! Lots of people piled out of the Tavern to watch us coming up the street!

We stopped in front of the Tavern in the Middle of the Street and, at the proper que, everyone piles out of Rose (behind the reporter), muddles over to Morticia, unloded the box, shows its contents to the camera, and trundles inside! All of 2 minutes on air, but what fun!

We stayed a short while longer, then rolled back into the night! With grateful THANK-YOUs ringing in our ears!

Thanks for Sharing, Rick! And thanks for having us John!
